DC Universe Online Trailer

Here’s a 6 minutes trailer for the DC Universe Online video game. I have to say this looks amazing. I’m always happy when Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are used as the voices of Batman and the Joker. Too bad this isn’t for the x-box…

Enjoy!

New Wonder Woman Outfit

J. Michael Straczynski, the new writer of the Wonder Woman series, has given the character a new look. She now wears pants and a jacket. WTF? Look, I get that the skanky gear that Superheroes wear isn’t exactly practical, but it’s all part of the fun. Straczynski said that women questioned him as to how Wonder Woman could be taken seriously as a warrior if she’s fighting in clothes that would easily have something pop out. Well those women weren’t comic book fans! I guarantee it! Keep my male and female heroes in ridiculous spandex! Especially with an outfit like Wonder Woman’s, which is so iconic. This is a terrible decision in my book. Thoughts?

Random Rant – An open letter to some rapper guy whose name I don’t know

Dear Rapper whose name I don’t know that sings the overly played “Nothing on You” song,

I understand you’re a rapper and a big part of your everyday job is rhyming words. However, these words should still make sense. I know it’s a difficult concept, so allow me to explain further. In your lyric “You’re my Wonder Woman, call me Mr. Fantastic,” you almost caused me to veer off the road in the ridiculousness of this comment. For one, Wonder Woman is a DC, and Mr. Fantastic is a Marvel – a fact that even the least nerdy usually know. Further more, I think Sue Storm may have a thing or two to say about you pawning her man off on another woman. In conclusion, please do your research before riling up a bunch of angry nerds.

Violently yours,

Rogue 1

Bob…. apparently this guy’s name is Bob. Way to go, Bob.
