The best looking one is Cap’s broken shield by McNiven, but then I’m biased – I love most things with Captain America. The Cyclopes/Dodson pic is next. The Spider-Man one is a little confusing. What exactly does he fear in that picture? Everything?
You can just make out a Celtic symbol in the green border. It’s like a triangle. According to the Great and Powerful Wiki, there are a lot of different meanings behind it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triquetra
The one that jumped out at me was the association with Odin – if that’s what Marvel is going with. The other is the Wiccan meaning of life, death and rebirth and earth, air, water.
Dammit, g33ky, always so perceptive. That is interesting. I actually think I like the Cap one best too. I’m not the biggest Cap fan but that pic is done so well. Seriously, if Cap has lost all hope, that is NOT a good sign.

I hate to say it, but I’m most intrigued by the Cyclops/Magneto pic. For all the great storylines Scott has gotten over the years, he’s always an obnoxious d-bag, maybe this will make him more exciting…And more importantly, make Emma realize she can do soooo much better.

Capt’s Pic is pretty beast but the Thor/Odin pic is great also I can’t wait to read this! Think it could blow Blackest Night out the water! I think Spider-Mans fear is losing everything that he loves dear to him because his legend is so great……….I mean he is the most human like of all marvel characters, on top of that he struggles with the Peter Parker vs. Spider-Man aspect. He can’t really take a day off to be just Peter Parker. Wouldn’t you be depressed if you can’t enjoy life; because some creepy ol’ hag keeps showing up making you help every hero in the universe; but your only power is strength and webs! Plus tomorrow only brings more pain and suffering in Peter’s mind. But this is just my opinion!
So I’m assuming Odin plays a Big Role in this one……………..
