Obscure Comic Book Character of the Week

This week’s obscure comic book character is Armless Tiger Man (what’s with all of these armless guys?) by Marvel. While working in a factory in Germany, Hertz got his arms cut off by a machine. Because of these he developed an extreme hate for machines, and was sent to America to destroy them. He learned to use his feet and teeth in place of his arms. Also, his teeth have been sharpened down to pointy weapons. Yah Yah, Ha Ha indeed, Armless Tiger Man.

Wow… he’s quite possibly the WORST character I’ve ever seen. Why even wear a costume!

Actually, that’s quite impressive. Seriously, what part of Armless Tiger Man worked? No one stood up and said “this is a bad idea”?

Maybe the writers had a pegboard with random words on it. “Who do we have today Stan?”

    Whoosh, thunk! “Pumpkin.”

    Whoosh, thunk! “Head.”

    Whoosh, thunk! “Boy.”

“I know, he can be a foil to Matter Eater Lad. His head can never be devoured. It’s coated in adamantine.”

This poor bastard reminds me of the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

    “Your arms off!”

    “No it isn’t.”
