Movie Update: Matthew Vaughn Pretends X-Men: First Class Won’t Suck

Matthew Vaughn has apparently been quoted as saying that now that he’s seen Inception, he has to throw up scenes from X-Men: First Class because they were eerily similar. Yeah right, Matthew Vaughn. You can’t even understand that characters from 2006 shouldn’t be in a First Class movie, but you’re matching ideas with the great Christopher Nolan and the intriguing blockbuster hit, Inception. Sure thing. Vaughn has also confirmed that this movie is a prequel, not a reboot, so if possible, this movie now makes even less sense due to continuity. Sigh.

    Let’s hope that he’s not lying and that it doesn’t suck… 😉

I heard that he actually had to remove The Joker from the script as well because Christopher Nolan made him the main villain in The Dark Knight…. true story… 😉

I wouldn’t be surprised. I wasn’t impressed by Inception, so if this is anything like it I won’t be shocked.
