Wolvie in a tight situation by Steve McNiven.
That’s a cool pic! I love McNiven’s artwork.
Not too thrilled with Old Man Logan though. It’s fine as a story, or a “What If…?” issue, but to tell a possible future story of a character in the main series with no explanation of the time shift, that’s just bad storytelling.
But that’s a whole other non-art related topic.
I haven’t read it – is it worth a read or no?
It’s actually a good story, just don’t think about it too much. I mean, don’t think about the issues that came before or after the story arc. If you read just Old Man Logan, you’re fine. I got mad because all of a sudden we went from Get Mystique! (an excellent arc) to the crazy, no hero future in Old Man Logan. When it wrapped, the series was retitled Dark Wolverine with no mention of the outcome of Old Man Logan. It was like a timeslip hiccup or something. I don’t mind the story itself, I didn’t like that Marvel decided to tell it in the mainstream comic. Oh, it was kinda crappy that the last chapter was a special one-shot.
Whatever, sorry. That might not have helped too much. Basically the story is a combination of Unforgiven and Wanted, sometimes even lifting whole lines from Unforgiven.
